Now in its fourth decade of existence, the Ocean City St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is an annual event that brings locals and visitors together to celebrate all things Irish. The parade typically begins at noon on the Saturday closest to St. Patrick’s Day and the route travels along Coastal Highway, from 57th Street to 45th Street. The parade is the second-largest St. Paddy’s Day parade in the state, and the festival features Irish-themed live entertainment, apparel, food, and drinks. Join the festivities at the 45th Street Shopping Center, and don’t forget to wear green!
4. See Unique Kites at the Maryland International Kite Expo
Each year in late April, spectators flock to the Ocean City shoreline to experience the annual Maryland International Kite Expo. From kite exhibitions to demonstrations to kite-flying lessons, there’s plenty to enjoy whether you’re a kite enthusiast or not. The festival features giant kite displays and welcomes some of the world’s greatest kite flyers for a weekend of fun experiences.
5. Bring the Whole Family to the Easter Art & Craft Show and Kids’ Fun Fair
If you’re thinking of visiting Saint Tropez around the Easter holiday, you’ll be impressed by all of the activities and events going on at the Easter Art & Craft Show and Kids’ Fun Fair. Children can take part in everything from Easter egg hunts and juggling lessons to limbo and hula hoop contests. There’s also face painting, sand art, bounce houses, swings, and a shark slide. Adults will enjoy browsing the many arts & crafts vendors that will be onsite selling their handcrafted items. This event takes place at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Easter weekend.
6. See Thousands of Cool Vehicles at the Cruisin’ OC Car Show
Arriving with the warmer temperatures of May is the 30th annual Cruisin’ Ocean City car show, which takes place in the middle of the month. In 2019, the event saw more than 3,000 classic and custom cars, hot rods, and other street machines, as well as live music performances and a beauty pageant. The event features daily parades that showcase all of the vehicles, and prizes are awarded on the final day of the show. This spring Ocean City event offers a fun time for everyone in your group!
